Thanks very much, I really appreciate it.

Now all I need is to find templates for the XF and FXO cars lol.

Is there anywhere else these are available?

How about Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire, UK? Better yet, discuss with Jonathan Palmer about replicating all the MSV tracks. I'm sure there's a realistic case to be put forward to him for joint promotion of both products and therefore joint responsibility for costs incurred.

@ Nick, what issue, attach the skin... and BTW there is an Work in Progress section in this forum

I'm aware of the WIP section, apart from the issue with the front though, (now wondering what skin I'm supposed to attach,) these are my finished articles. They may not be as detailed or impessive as most on here, but I'm happy with them and shall run with them as they are.

Quote from logitekg25 :i was thinking it would be more of a add a comments section as a tab, incase the name doesnt quite tell the whole story

That's what I thought when I saw the title, I know we always end up adding notes to our setup sheets.

I thought there already was one, the MRT5.

Ok, early attempts for me, nothing special, however I shall be using these online.
(No fancy renders either due to not having a program to do them on.)

There does seem to be an issue around the front bumper vent, anyone know where it is on the template so I can get rid of it.

Quote from Dazmyster :Looks good, i think this could be a seperate oval for us OVAL ADDICTS ( Bangers? ) or add it into another track !

thanks daz

+1 for the oval as a seperate entity. Shouldn't take too much work and there'd be no need to add barriers all the way round, just check out some of the smaller ovals in the US.

1) LMP closed cockpit cars
2) Nascar type racer, (to suit the Rockingham oval)
3) Something to equal the Scirocco
4) RB4 GTR
5) Saloon to compete equally with the XF GTI (fwd to add variety to the lower classes of racing)

I'd be up for this idea, although still being a demo racer until the new year,(I've had to wait for a chance to have a permanent area I can set the wheel up and have reliable broadband to race regularly,) I haven't really experienced everything LFS currently has to offer so the temperature adjustments would just be an extra thing for me to learn rather than a new addition I could enjoy getting to grips with.

I think that interchangable parts would be too complicated to incorporate into the sim now, (even if you do ignore the aforementioned "copy the best setup" route that everyone will eventually take). However, you seem genuinely passionate about this idea Vortes, so why not have a go at producing your own simulator with interchangeable parts incorporated from the outset? It won't be easy and you'd need to be very dedicated, but you'd only need to produce a couple of cars for a start and one or two tracks to test the idea. Heck, if you do go for it then I'd be willing to be an alpha tester for you once you got that far.

This sounds like the ideal scenario for me as I'm looking to set up a new racing league next spring, but unfortunately my present pc can't handle large grids, (very old spec now, but was reasonable when I bought it). I hope you do recruit guys to help out as it would be a real shame to lose MoE, especially with the publicity you've got from SRT.

Hi all, another newbie to the scene.

The first thing I noticed upon loading up the demo is that I need a new rig, this one is about 4 years old now with only moderate upgrades to the graphics card and sound, and they're not recent.

I'm having issues calibrating my Logitech Momo to the sim atm, everything lined up in the calibration tests, but on track the wheel needs to be at 110 deg approx to steer straight. Also my peddles can't be calibrated to different axis, any idea why that is? I've clicked on the seperate button, but to no avail.

I'd also like to give a big thumbs up to Sim Racing Tonight, if it wasn't for those guys, I'd be completely unaware that Live For Speed exists.
